Insurance and Payment Information

Insurance and Billing

Dr Bina accepts and participates with Medicare and many other insurance companies.

Please contact your insurance company directly to verify acceptance of your insurance plan in this office. Qualifications for insurance coverage may differ due to the uniqueness of each procedure. We are happy to file insurance for your reimbursement as long as you are free to choose your own gastroenterologist.

Payment Options

Credit card on file:  As a courtesy, Dr Bina offers the option to securely maintain a credit or debit card on file with authorization to bill your card for any balance for which you are responsible.  The practice will bill your card on file within 7 days of receipt of your insurance company payment and an Explanation of Benefits from both your primary and secondary insurances.

Prepayment Option: If you choose not to leave a credit or debit card on file with Dr Bina’s practice, you will be required to prepay for all estimated copayments, coinsurance, deductibles and procedure reservation fees in advance of any service performed

  • Scheduling  an Endoscopic  Procedure  at the Hospital requires the coordination of many medical professionals. As a courtesy to them and other patients, please provide a minimum of 48 hours notice if you must cancel or reschedule your procedure. If you fail to provide 48 hours notice of cancellation (or rescheduling) Dr Bina  will charge a $100.00 fee to your credit card on file, or you will forfeit the $100 deposit  provided when you scheduled.  This fee is not covered by  HMO or Health Plan (a non-covered benefit).
